Associate
Associate grade membership is for those who meet the academic criteria for Member grade ( Level 4 Diploma or equivalent in a fire subject) and are working towards gaining the necessary experience required to meet the full Member grade criteria. This makes the Associate grade ideal for new graduates of fire-related degrees.
Application Process
To apply for the grade of Associate with the IFE, email the following to membership@ife-usa.org:
- A Completed Member Application Form
- Initial Professional Development (IPD) Report
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Report
Annual Subscription Fee
An annual subscription fee of $168.00 will be collected each year on January 1.
Diploma
Candidates elected to membership in the IFE with grades of Technician, Graduate, Associate, Member, Fellow, and Affiliate Organization receive diplomas recognizing their professional accomplishment.
Post-Nominal Letters
Associate of the IFE also benefit from esteemed professional recognition in the global fire sector through the use of the post-nominal AIFireE.
